DOUG'S STORY

D oug Stvan first fell in love with marketing in high school when he took his first marketing elective class. He later pursued a college education in business administration with a marketing major. He had a few sales jobs after school, but felt sales was not his passion. He ended up working for the new family business. They had some issues with the seller of the business and lost nearly half of the clients. They desperately needed a marketing plan and wanted the business to be completely different than others. That's when his strong passion and desire for marketing resurrected itself.

EDUCATION

D oug attended College of Dupage where he pursued a business degree. He graduated with an associates degree and then went to Northern Illinois University to obtain his Bachelors degree in Marketing. Years later, he went back to school and completed a certificate program in Integrated Marketing Communications at DePaul University. He's also taken some new courses and attended seminars at DePaul during the last couple years and completed some Google certifications. This has all helped replenish his marketing skills and learn the new, ever-changing phase of digital marketing, seo, and social media.
